Our Trustees have a range of qualifications and experience but we all have an interest in fostering, adoption and therapeutic care.
Trustees are currently:
Sheila Patel
Sheila has 21 years as a foster Carer and 20 years as Principal Advisor Foster Care at ISP Fostering Agency. Currently a Relief Society President for her church and chair of a Foster Carer Forum as well as a trustee on The Spark Foundation Charity.
Dave Wrighton
Dave was appointed as a Trustee in late 2020. He is semi-retired but still sits on the main board of a group of construction based companies operating throughout the south east of England. He is a Quantity Surveyor by training.
He has a wealth of experience of general management and strategic planning including operating on a voluntary basis by acting as Chairman of a large multisport organisation for more than a decade. His involvement with the Trust allows him to help in providing assistance to deserving young people.
Andrew Fox
I am a qualified social worker and managed Children and Family teams for local authorities, specialising in child protection. For twenty years I managed a large part of a Therapeutic Fostering Agency which included education provision as well as social work support and therapy.
As well as sitting as a trustee I am a director of ALL4U fostering which is a therapeutic fostering agency.
As a trustee I enjoy the trust develop working relationships with charitable groups who are developing excellent services for young people. I believe in creating the opportunity for young people to develop and thrive in today’s world and work with my fellow trustees to develop the opportunities and support for people to build their lives and help others.
Brian Bishop
Chair of Trustees since the Foundation was formed in 2013. He was a non-executive director on the board of ISP Independent Fostering Agency. He is a retired Social Worker and Children’s Guardian. He began his career in a London Borough Children’s Department and his last job in Social Services was as an Assistant Director in London.
He has experience across all aspects of the care and treatment of children and young people, particularly in therapeutic settings and at the Peper Harow Foundation, and as an Independent Social Worker. He currently consults to Childhood First, and the Institute of Integrated Systemic Therapy.
Amir Bennett
Amir Bennett became a Trustee in late 2020. He has an active role in clinical radiology working for the NHS and is also senior lecturer at a London university.
He is passionate about caring for those in need, and Tunstall Jubilee Foundation offers that opportunity for him to help those who need it most.
Liza Crozier
Liza became a trustee late in 2020. Currently she is the project manager for a local charity which supports young people aged 16-24 to gain employment, or to re enter back into further education. We support aspects of life skills and mental health.
Before this she was the deputy manager of a children’s home which supported children with a diagnosis or Autism, ADHD, Epilepsy and challenging behaviour.
She has a passion for young people achieving their goals and reaching their full potential.
